Our Beginning – The Story of Sandy Gee

one event, one step, one dollar at a time.

Our history is one of perseverance, compassion, and a relentless drive to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.

In June 2012, Sandy Gee—wife, mother, and lifelong member of the RK family—was diagnosed with breast cancer. Just months later, Sandy proudly walked in that year’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event. Though her battle was brief, her impact was eternal.

Sandy passed away in March of 2013. But before she left us, she made one thing clear: “Don’t stop fighting.”

From One Walk to a Movement

What began as a single team walking in Sandy’s honor has grown into one of the top dealership fundraising efforts in the country.

Throughout Team Sandy’s history, community support has fueled our growth. Over the past 13 years, Team Sandy has hosted car shows, poker tournaments, celebrations, and raffles all with one goal: to raise critical funds for breast cancer research, patient support services, and early detection efforts.

Our Progress Toward $1 Million

Together, we’ve Raised Over $834,279 — And We’re Not Done Yet.
In 2025, we’re pushing to become a $1,000,000 Legacy Team with the American Cancer Society.
